Seems common sense, but I hadn't stumbled upon this resource for free local activities for youth in Fresno. Go figure, its the city of Fresno's Event Calendar. Guess I should spend more time on that site to see all that it has to offer. For a look at some local holidays events click HERE.

Cookie Decorating Jamboree

Tuesday, tomorrow, is an activity where you can decorate and eat cookies! The organizers request you bring store bought drinks to share. Pre-registration is required at the site. It is free for ages 5-15. From 3pm-4pm

Restaurant.com offers coupons for purchase. For example, normally you can pay $10 for a $25 off a purchase of $35 with and 18% gratuity. So for about $26 you get a $35 meal for two. Each restaurant has its own conditions, but the deal I just mentioned is pretty common. Right now with the promo code SANTA you can receive 80% off the coupons so for example, I just got a coupon for 80 cents (normally $4) for $10 off a $20 meal at the local restaurant, The Thai Gem in Clovis. More Supercuts Haircuts Free! Final Days of Training

Supercuts located on 3786 N. Blackstone Ave. in Fresno are looking for men woman and children as long as the kids can sit alone and not move to use for their final days of training. These haircuts are free and offered on a first come first serve basis so there is a wait. Show up with freshly shampooed hair and you'll be ready to go!

Kids Build your own Gingerbread House Free

Tonight at 5:30pm the Pinedale Branch Library is offering a free activity for kids to build their own gingerbread house, and you can take home your supplies.

Tonight at First Church of God, (First & Ashlan)in Fresno is a free Christmas event: Ugandan Orphan's choir performance a 7pm. Everyone is welcome.

Christmas Tree Lane in Fresno
Open through December 26th, enjoy Christmas tree lane on Fresno's Van Nees Blvd. in Fig Garden. Remaining nights are drive through only from 6pm-10pm Fri-Sat 6pm to 11pm. Call 348-9200 for more information.

Winter Wonderland Fresno

Candlelight Christmas in Fresno
Until December 26th, take a walk down Huntington Blvd in Fresno between First and Cedar and see America's tallest living lighted Christmas tree. Santa will also be visiting nightly on Fifth street from 6pm to 9:30pm with a life sized animated reindeer! Call 255-8622

Zoolights Holiday Extravaganza
December 18-23rd and the 26-27th Fresno's Chaffee Zoo will be lit up for the Holidays. Meet Santa and take a photo, enjoy live entertainment, and stroll through the displays from 5pm-8pm.

Supercuts Free Haircuts!

This is the post from Supercuts regarding their free Haircuts. Now would be the best time to go since their training is coming to an end. If you want to get out of there quick, come before nine or sign in and come back later. Supercuts is near the Manchester Mall. Go through the east entrance, you'll know you're in the right place because there isn't a counter and the waiting area is opposite the front door.
