Infamil AR and Lipil 24 oz $15 at Savemart on First and Shaw
In the back corner of Savemart on the frozen foods end (northeast corner of the store) in the clearance shopping carts you will find 24oz of Infamil AR with Lipil and Lipil infant formula for $15 a piece! That's 62.5 cents an ounce. Usually it's a fantastic deal since that's almost half off. I grabbed mine, so stock up if you've got a babe at home.

Clovis Farmer's Market Friday June 24, 2011 Pics
Little Miss Tarren |
Taylor and Heather! |
40 Watt Hype |
My frugalista friend Heather and I braved the Clovis Farmer's Market yesterday with my kiddies in tow. I was a little worried about crowds and parking, but I had no need to be. We showed up around 5:30 and found parking in the lot behind EECU. I busted out the double stroller and we enjoyed walking up and down the streets. The entertainment section is on the south end now, the produce has its own section. Then you have the food vendors in the middle on the east and west sides. To the north you have the other vendors. Most of the produce was priced and a dollar a pound! It was beautiful and most vendors gave samples. The restaurants are also a nice option to duck inside to get out of the heat if it gets to be to much. There are also public restrooms that aren't too scary. I was impressed that it wasn't too crowded which makes it easier for those of us with little ones. Great family event. Come support our local farmers! Some even accept WIC and Senior Farmer's Market vouchers.

97cents for 1lb of Strawberries at Save Mart through Sunday
Yum. Strawberries are 97 cents in the 1 lb containers at Save Mart through Sunday. Also there is always a rolling rack in the back of the produce section, sort of out of sight, that will have ripe (sometimes too ripe) produce bundled together for 99 cents or 69 cents a tray. This is a consistent way to get a lot of bananas and tomatoes for super cheap. You obviously just need to eat them right away (banana bread and salsa baby). When I first discovered this, I was all excited, and my mom said it reminded her of the movie Soylent Green.

Swim Lessons at your Pool by Sarah (me)
It's that time again: swim lessons! Try private lessons at your home in a pool that your child is familiar with. Ages 2 and up. Lessons cost $25 each and last 30 minutes. Specials for referrals, and parents who have siblings taking lessons. Payment options available. Send me an email if you are interested. sarlin12@hotmail.com. Let's get those kiddos in the pool!
I am willing to travel if we get a group together; for example, I am planning on going to Auberry in early July (gas donations accepted).
Currently, I am tentatively scheduling lessons because the weather has been so cool. We need a couple days of 90 degree weather to warm the pool water; we don't want the little swimmers shivering while they are learning something new.
UPDATE: Looks like Thursday the 16th is our first day!
