CSU Fresno Organic Farm U -Pick August 6th and 20th

 Come support Fresno State Ag Students at the organic student farm Saturdays August 6th and 20th from 8am-10am. The farm is located on the southeast corner of Barstow and Chestnut. Meet with students and staff to learn about the program and, of course, come pick!

"Come and pick your own choice of seasonal organic vegetables at special prices! Seasonal crops: Organic  heirloom tomatoes (Tigerella, Cherokee Purple, San Marzano, Red Currant), summer squash, bell pepper, American & Japanese eggplants, okra,  and strawberry. "

Children's Museum of the Sierra

The Children's Museum of the Sierra is a nonprofit organization located in the Oakhurst area, north of Fresno. This museum focused on hands on learning for children ages two-twelve. It is located about 24 miles south of the entrance to Yosemite, so it's a great place to stop for the kids to get their wiggles out on the long drive to Yosemite. The museum is open during the summer from 10am-5pm Tuesday through Saturday.
Admission is $4 per person, seniors are $3 and children under 2 are free. A group discount is available to those with 10 or more children changing the cost to $1 per person, although you must have 1 adult for every 4 children.
