Did you ever leave a job before you got your last paycheck? Or had an expired check that you forgot about?
After three to five years unclaimed property in California goes to the State Controllers Office and if they can find you, they will send a notice in the mail, otherwise it sits in the database, potentially indefinitely. Sounds weird, but unlike fishing scams, this money was yours to begin with it just never got to you because of the wrong address or some similar problem.
All you need to do to see if you have unclaimed property waiting for you, is to follow this link https://ucpi.sco.ca.gov/UCP/Default.aspx. Naturally you have to identify yourself to claim it through a form and normal forms of id- like your Driver's License etc.
Hope you find something! It's fun to search. Merry Christmas!

J&K Farley Farms U-Pick
"We are opening June 21, 2014 with our
fantastic U-PICK peaches! We will be open every day 7am-7pm until this
variety is sold out. All fruit on our farm is 65cents/lb. Boxes and
wagons are provided free of charge. Our picnic area is ready for your
family and the petting zoo is getting more animals every day!"
J&K Farley Farms posted this the other day on facebook and I think it's really exciting! I have apricot jam still that I canned from last year and I've gobbled up all the jams my friend Heather made me from her u-pick adventures last year. I've always said one of the best reasons to live in the valley is all the ripe produce. So get out to those farms and farmers markets. Yes it's hot, but peaches from Save Mart or Costco will never compare to those right of the tree! Last year they were open until mid September.

Old Navy Super Clearance! Up to 80% Jan 18th -21st
This is the time I throw down on new clothes. January is a rough month for retailers and they tend to dump whatever excess goods they have so you can really get some awesome deals on out of season clothing. I love buying shorts and kids clothing at Old Navy around now. So this three day weekend head into Old Navy for up to 80% off their clearance. If you're in the shopping mood try other clothing retailers, including online for there uber clearances. Enjoy!
Click HERE for the clearance selection online, but remember it won't be half as good as in the store.
