Need a New Twist on Dinner and a Show? Try Roger Rockas Dinner Theater

Most of us from the Fresno area are familiar to Roger Rocka's Dinner Theater located in downtown Fresno. The Company of Good Players actors perform at Roger Rocka's and at the Second Space Theater.  Roger Rocka's is one of Fresno's gems and if you are looking for something a bit more special for that special someone this Valentine's Day consider buying tickets to this show which is likely to be more entertaining than the latest chick flick. Until March 17, 2013 you can view Monty Python's Spamalot a theatrical adaptation of the famous movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. PG 13. Tickets run currently at $49 per person (which includes dinner, of course). Season tickets are $138 (includes all six shows and The Second Space Theater). Click HERE for other ticket options. Lonely Hearts an Anti-Valentine's Event at the Pacific Southwest Building

The Vault, is an actual bank vault that you can attend for events like Arthop at the Pacific Southwest Building in downtown Fresno. On February 15th the Pacific Southwest Building will be hosting a Lonely Hearts Anti-Valentine's Day dance for singles' awareness day, ages 21 and over, cash bar,  from 9pm to 1am. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door. Music, dessert, and other festivities to enjoy. Check out facebook to join and for more information.

Outdoor Ice Rink in Dowtown Fresno through January 13th

The ice rink at Fulton Mall in downtown Fresno opens daily at 10am. Sunday through Thursday the rink is open until 8pm, on Friday and Saturday it closes at 10pm. Sounds like a fun and romantic date idea. General admission is $10 which includes a skate rental and parking. Children 12 and under are $8. Season passes and private parties are available. Until December 25th, take a walk down Huntington Blvd in Fresno between First and Cedar and see America's tallest living lighted Christmas tree. Santa will also be visiting nightly on Fifth street from 6pm to 9:30pm with a life sized animated reindeer!

Christmas Tree Lane last walking night Tuesday December 11th

Christmas Tree Lane will be open until December 25, 2011. This Tuesday, December 11th is the last walking night. Be prepared to meet Santa somewhere along the walk and see if you can find all of his reindeer!

Every other night on Van Ness Boulevard between Shields and Shaw, cars are welcome to drive through (northbound only) and enjoy the lights and decorations that brighten the night. 

Admission is FREE, however donations are encouraged.
Christmas Tree Lane is sponsored by the Fig Garden Homeowners Association.

The lights turn on at 6pm until 10pm Sunday through Thursday, 6pm-11pm Friday through Saturday.
