Better than Bisquick Biscuits

Homemade Bisquick Biscuits


2 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup milk

Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Cut shortening into the mix. When crumbly, add milk. Drop biscuit batter on ungreased cookie sheets. You can knead the dough for smoother biscuits 10 times on a floured surface if you like. Makes about 9 biscuits.

Bake at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes.
